Provides human basic needs of food and clothing
Following the declaration of the Federal Government initiative on cassava production for export in Nigeria, Ladmok became the first company to flag off the exportation of cassava chips to China. So, in year 2005, the company, through the assistance of the Nigeria Trade Office, Shanghai, China and the Embassy of Nigeria, Beijing, China, carried out the first shipment of Cassava Chips to China.
The company through the Nigeria Trade Office, Shanghai facilitated the visit to Gernetec Company of China, a Chinese investor and importer in Cassava chips and allied products. The Chinese company paid a reconnaissance visit to ascertain the potentials of cassava products and cassava business in Nigeria.
As part of the value chain, Ladmok operated a strong and reliable transport logistic for the transportation of cassava chips and products. In addition, to our export business, Ladmok maintained and operated a Warehouse in Apapa to stock our Cassava Chips before export and it also provided warehousing services for other cassava exporters.
Ladmok was in the fore front and vanguard to the formation of National Cassava Exporters Association of Nigeria (NACAN) with President/CEO of Ladmok, Chief (Mrs.) Ronke Daniel appointed as the Vice Chairman of the Association
In 2008, and in recognition of our efforts at empowering women and farmers in Nigeria, Ladmok was invited and sponsored by International Trade Centre to attend the World Export Development Forum on Women and Farmers Empowerment in Geneva. The company was ably represented by the President/Chief Executive Officer, Chief (Mrs.) Ronke Daniel.
