As part of its core businesses, Ladmok engages in Trade and Investment facilitation and promotion. To this end, the company signed an Agreement with NIPPON Investments of Japan for investment in agriculture, solid minerals and infrastructural development in Nigeria as well as promoting the Nigeria Cultural exchange and tourism development.
In 2007, and at the invitation of the Nigeria Embassy of Nigeria in Namibia, the company further carried the cassava export initiative to Namibia. The company, which was represented by the President/Chief Executive Officer, Chief (Mrs.) Ronke Daniel, had useful discussions with potential importers and investors of cassava and its allied products. In addition, the Nigeria Embassy to Namibia facilitated a meeting with Mrs. Sophia Shanigwa Isaack, the Governor of Khomas Region of Namibia. The Governor invited Ladmok to transfer their expertise in Cassava farming and production to Khomas Region by investing in the cassava farming and development in the Region. To this end, an MOU was signed by Ladmok and Khomas Region. Chief (Mrs.) Ronke Daniel signed on behalf of the company while Mrs. Sophia Shanigwa Isaack, signed on behalf of the region.
In year 2008, the company as part of the representative of Private Sector attended the Trade and Investment Agreement (TIFA) Forum between Nigeria and USA in Washington at the instance of the then Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Ladmok was at the Forum to seek and eestablish business relationship with potential importer of Cassava chips from Nigeria
The Company engaged in series of successful business activities with Thailand.In May, 2017, the company attended and participated at ThaiFex World Food Expositions and Technology. The Forum was to build up synergy and collaboration between the private and public sector to deliver a truly international food and beverages event. In addition, the company facilitated the recently concluded Nigeria – Thailand Business and Investment Forum. The Forum, which was held between October 25 and 26, 2017 in Bangkok, Thailand, was quite successful as it was greatly attended by both business communities from Nigeria and Thailand.
